The back wall seeps quite easily. So I think it's best after a dry spell. Saying that some of the climb are less affected so if you were really keen there'll be something dry. I did notice someone had climbed there a couple of weeks ago on 8a.nu. but that was during dry spell.

Nice one ta. May just stick with Anston as it's A) less far to drive and B) known to be dry.

Anyone been down recently. Thinking it might be a sheltered spot for tomorrow's heat... But wondering if the shelf is green or not....

afraid I'll be out in the day rather than evening.. - but having just driven to Kendal and back in near monsoon up to Lancaster (kendal was replete with high rivers and flooded roads) - If thats hit the Peak I'd suspect it might be enough to instigate some seepage.. Did the Peak get a dousing today?

Gonna be hooooooot tomorrow apparently so might be unpleasant. Definitely think conies will be a cooler option if it's dry....

Just taken the bairn for a spin around the block* in the pram - and boy it's humid and muggy out there. I sound like the voice of doom today - but feels like tomorrow could be a condense day... Who knows! Good luck if you go..

*we'd run out of tonic.

Dunno if I will go now, seems pretty hot, my elbow is aching, weds/thurs look cooler, tempting to rest up to be honest.

Tom-diddly-tomtom. Did you go today. Dave are you going?

Morning was a bit of a cluster f*ck... I eventually got out about 9:45, then got held up in satans own co-allition of temporary traffic lights trying to escape Manchester - and after sat in one que for 30 min had to bail (I needed to be back for c.1pm to help mrs TT with TT jnr). As it happens 2 min before I arrived back home TT jnr had decided to practice his first face plant from a bouncy chair thing to the floor (he's only 6 weeks old) so we had to take him for his first visit (of many I'm sure) to A&E. All OK - as we both suspected -- but a bit of a first time trauma for us both. Now just got to convince the Health visitor on thursday that we havnt been beating him up!

Anyway - so no. Sorry. Looks decent out there though.. not too humid..

Now hoping to get out tomorrow afternoon (c.4 ish) no idea where yet!

Having said that, I'm almost talking myself into going again. I think I'm indecisive but I'm not sure.

well glad you got the first trauma out of the way without any long lasting drama. Sure we all spent hours in A+E as kids bleeding into a towel... I'll post up later. Put a seatbelt in the bouncy seat and hide any paint stripper (I drank a load apparently when young). Dave I'll be there with a mate so will post up conies later

Conies weren't brilliant. The back wall was dripping....
