Organic crash pads
January 07, 2014, 07:02:19 pm
An Italian shop is making a good deal on the Organic Simple Pad at 180 Euros instead of 250 or so. A friend is tempted to buy one. Are they really as good as they say?
Help much appreciated.

Stubbsy has a couple. Everyone I've met with one raves about them...

The foam in them is better than any other pads I've owned in terms of longevity. I rate them, I've got three in vorious states of repair at the moment, and can't see myself buying anything else in the future.

Not as good, but not bad. The KJ highball is a good jumbo pad, the others are in the middle range.

I have heard loads of good things about these pads for a while now as well, and was just wondering best place to buy them?
Online seems like only place is the Organic website, and this seems pricey with shipping and that, is there any online retailers in UK or is only option the website?
Cheers

Only place I've seen them on sale in the UK is at the Biscuit Factory / The Arch in London.

I fancied one of their bouldering chalk bags (my homemade ex-moon jeans bag is getting a bit useless) but the prices on this side of the pond are eye-watering (£30 for a chalk bag!). Wish I'd bought one in Bishop.

I actually don't like them much. No lining and the closure mechanism combine to make them a bit messy I think.

I got one with a pad a couple of years ago and for some reason they sent me two.

Thus I have one unused in olive, white and black which can be yours for the princely sum of nothing but postage from the US.

Sorry Pipesmoke that was directed at PaulB.

Here's a picture. Think postage back to Blighty isn't much as it is pretty small and light. Got your pm will check out cost and send it.
