I think I'll invest in a lens with a longer focal length this year for wildlife photography.

Nice work everyone. Hopefully Mine won't look too amateurish in comparison.  :-[

I love this thread- the first incarnation is what prompted me to take photography (a bit) more seriously. Big up all who post in it.  :2thumbsup:

Right, I'm going to go rather picture heavy on this one as I've been some astounding places this past year. Mostly landscapes as photography turned into a rest day activity. I took my full array of lenses away and pretty much only used one. Later in the year we went to Morocco and I took a 50mm and that was great (although still bloody heavy).

Sorry about the dust spots on some of the images, I've now removed them but not had the time to re-upload them over the 'originals'.

Every time I see pics of seal cve it makes me bleak we never got out shit together to get there. Good pics.

Nice pics Paul, but "travelswithmyt4" seems more and more inappropriate as time goes on!

Seal cove was amazing
Great for an easy day in the sun. Nothing too hard but nice big pitches all 40m+ on nice unpolished granite.  I saw several seals none came to shore though and a small shark.

I lead the obvious rising crack on the right of the climber making it hard for my self smearing on the face with my hands in the juggy crack. My second just walked up it. I thought it felt hard for 5.8

Should have looked at some photos and done a bit more research, the guidebook doesn't really do it justice.

The climbing was fun and easy not world class but good enough.
There is definately better climbing in squamish but the situation made it for me.

We had the crag to our selves on a warm sunny day looking out over the howe sound.
