Also, does sex count? :lets_do_it_wild:

Reckon stretching is just about acceptable so sex OK as long as you can keep at it for 30mins.

And are on top...

Do we have to report back each day ? If so, just done 30 mins cardio, followed by 30 mins core session, 30 mins weights for antagonists then stretched. Finger board session tonight.

No - but you could report weekly on Power Club. Remember to pace yourself.

I'm in. Only logged in for the first time this year today though.

I did 2 hours of hard surfing in fairly big waves yesterday though, can I take that as credit for not doing anything on the 1st?

Do we need to report in daily Power Club style?

Special dispensation granted  :)

No need to report daily - we can find out how everyone got on and got out of it at the end of the month.

So first week done for me. Not too bad really, quite easy to fit 30mins of some sort of exercise in every day. Also managed a week off the pop. According to the scales I'd lost 2kgs this week - obviously that's bollocks. But I feel better for the first week. Bring on the next 3.  :boxing:

Well done.

I've lost 2lbs (though not off my bollocks)

Cant decide whether to do easy traversing or a jog to fill today's quota

I'm still on track, though didn't weigh myself at the exact start, I'm currently 67kg.
I don't have a target weight - I only seem to gain/lose weight around the midrift so usually can see pretty quickly how fit I am... The old "Pinch an inch" test  :doubt:

Didn't see this before now. Slacker that I am didn't start any exercise till last sunday so already deserve the punter point, but I'll be doing something every day anyway.

3 weeks in - how's everyone doing?

As I was doing 5 days a week I've found it fairly easy to throw in a jog or an easier indoor bouldering session to make up the numbers.

What I've liked most is that each day the question is "what shall I do today and how will I fit in" rather than "shall I do something today and can I fit it in"

I've found it pretty useful have missed two days overall. Some days it's just some stretching as I might be feeling knackered. It's made me do more core and press-ups than usual. Decent idea Shark. Just had one drink (well evening drinking) too. and that's because we went round some friends and stayed over - no way was I sitting there with orange juice.
For me, with work, family and age 7 days a week feels really hard - so it's got to be a good thing and I'm going to carry it over but for 6 days a week into Feb,as the spare tyre is slowly melting.

I've probably managed an average of 6 days out of 7, but made up for shortfall on other days. Picked up a tweaky shoulder so laid off beatmaker for a few days, but it feels OK now. First time out on bike for the year last night, didn't feel too bad, managed a full hour mostly doing the steepest hills I can find around here.

Everyday done so far..

It's been fairly easy alhough I've forced myself to do stuff on a couple of occasions. The missus is on a diet, so this effectively means I am too. I've lost the kilo and a bit of Christmas lard. I've been playing around with the MyFitnessPal app and find that it's easy to keep to my 1800 calories per day, chuck in some exercise and I don't really have to watch what I eat too much.

I've started eating a breakfast for the first time in about 30 years and I havent had a kebab, KFC, Pizza hut etc since before Christmas. I won't be doing anything stupid like trying to stop drinking though. Stay true to booze and you never lose.

It's been good to do a bit more walking again and I should do more antagonistic stuff rather than it being a chore.

Had managed every day until past few days - now getting over the bug that derailed me.

Weight coming off rapidly; maybe too rapidly - 3kg since 1 Jan. But then I did start dieting from a particularly high point. Real test will be whether I can shed the next 3kg.

Managed every day so far.

Good to have a structured gym programme working general aerobic fitness, core and antagonists that fits in to give rest days from climbing / climbing training / pulling days.  Early to say but:

1. seem to be breathing better on my routes day possibly as a result of the extra aerobic work,
2. getting much more out of my feet on my steep board days from the extra core workouts and
3. shoulders are virtually painless possibly due to increase in the amount of hard press up variations, bench pressing and " butterfly" pulls.

Weight seems virtually stuck at a couple of kg above where I would like to be for doing routes, but bouldering since the end of October and the extra gym stuff is possibly adding a bit of muscle.

Probably continue this Feb and then switch strength stuff to PE inMarch before first sports trip to Kaly in April....... might get some 5's onsightedhttp:

All in all a jolly good idea young Simon !
