Rosehearty? As good as it sounds?
September 24, 2013, 11:42:28 am
Any knowledge on Rosehearty? Odd that it isn't in Scottish Rock, just wondering if its any good?

Looks appealing from this; http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crag.php?id=1914

Any other low level suggestions in the area worth visiting (trad or sport) other than Dunkeld & Craeg Dubh.

Supposed to be good if we can get it in nick. If the weather changes we can head to Super Crag.

I went there once when I was in Aberdeen for the summer, remember it being fun.

Agree with that. Its a really good crag in the right conditions. Lots of quality pitches close together, good rock, not much faff, decent chance of seeing dolphins.

Never seen dolphins there, elusive bastards  >:(

See reply on UKC and be warned it only gets a few hours of essential drying sunshine on the main walls at this time of year.

decent chance of seeing dolphins.

Saw loads of dolphins at Orchestra cave on Sunday. Literally fifty of them!

Scottish Rock totally ignored the NE, nothing east of Ballater or north of Glen Clova - both good low level alternatives btw (conditions dependant) - what grades you looking for?
