Off to the north west for a family holiday based in Gairloch but likely to get the occasional pass to go play. Any suggestions for bouldering in the locality?

Not a lot documented not to say there isn't any. There is some probably some around the Gruinard Bay Crags, I've noticed some at the top of Triangular Slab at the Car Park Area, and if you had a wander around Stone Valley I'm sure you would find some. Tons of potential around Rubha Mor Peninsula too.

You could try and get hold of a local and see if you can dig any info out of them? Or see if you can find someone to hold your rope at one of the sport crags.

There are some nice easier routes too at places like Raven's Crag if you fancy a bit of easy soloing

Gruinard Bay Car park area would be good with family in tow btw. Enormous beach opposite, 5 min walk from car park to crags in one direction, i min walk to beach in the other.
