STOP PRESS! FILM ABOUT "THE MELTDOWN" F9A WORLDS HARDEST SLAB CLIMB FOR SALE HERE....

As some of you might be aware I made a film about the historical ascent of Johnny Dawes old sport project in the Welsh quarry’s last year. James Mchaffie made the long awaited first ascent of this fearsome route. Giving Britain, if not the world it's hardest slab climb to date “The Meltdown” weighing in at a mighty F9a. In this short film you will see James climb the route and Johnny dawes talk about finding and trying the line back in the day. As this project cost me money and I did it with no financial help i'm asking for £3.49 for the film. This small amount will help cover the costs for petrol and time spent. All you need to do is click the link below and click pay, you'll be asked to sign up to Sparkeo. This is quick and then all you have to do is pay pal the money and it's yours.

Here is a review from Dave Birkett after watching it.

Meltdown is a short film (15 minutes) documenting the first ascent of what is probably Britain's hardest slab climb. Meltdown 9a is in the Llanberis slate quarries, bolted in the 1980s by Johnny Dawes it was finally climbed in 2012 by James McHaffie.
I've watched a lot of climbing films and would now often prefer not to! But this film is different; it's not 'radical' or 'extreme' and doesn't feature anyone base jumping, slacklining or shouting "send it". It documents the outstanding talent and dedication of James, as well as the beautiful nostalgic and humorous memories of Johnny Dawes. The passion of both climbers shines throughout the film.
This is a budget film, that made me feel really inspired about climbing. It's a film for climbers, made by a climber. Surprisingly this is Adam's first film, because the outcome is extremely professional. An absolute must see!

I hope you find the time to buy and enjoy this film.

Maybe this year I can make a new climbing film with the skill set I have learnt over the last year.

All the best

Clicked through signing up on Sparkeo and as I got to the PayPal login page the order summary showed...

Quote
Your order summary
DescriptionsAmount
Piano In 8 Weeks - Week 3Piano In 8 Weeks - Week 3
$427.84
Item price: $427.84
Quantity: 1
Item total $427.84

I'd need a lot longer than eight weeks to learn the piano and haven't done weeks 1 and 2 yet.

EDIT : Second try after clicking on the 'i' in the top right and following that link took me straight to PayPal with the correct £3.49 billing.

No idea what happened the first time :???:

Is there the possibility of downloading for watching off-line? (I put most climbing films on my PS3)

I managed to get a sneak preview of this and really enjoyed it, a lot more than just some footage of someone climbing a route, really nice background and history...

How did you actually download it?  I can't see anywhere to do so and looking at the pages source isn't particularly revealing.

Really enjoyed that!, especially enjoyed the bit where Johnny was describing the time he first abbed the wall.

Great stuff, nice one!  :2thumbsup:

Would be nice to be able to download it, or am I missing something?

Really enjoyed that, just watched it again.

Not sure if it is just my machine, but had a few issues with stuttery playback and audio not being synched? Pretty sure it wasn't a buffering issue.

Same here on two different computers on different networks.  Main reason why I'm keen for a download.
