I think it's specific to internet explorer.

:slap: another important piece of information in such trouble-shooting.

Nope, I'm using Feuerfuchs and it's doing it.

Trying a different browser would be even easier? (And if you're on a work computer with restricted administration rights then PortableApps)

How would it be easier? I'd have to download and install a new browser, which would have none of my saved information in it.

How would it be easier? I'd have to download and install a new browser, which would have none of my saved information in it.

Certainly easier in the long term as IE frequently fails to adhere to the w3c web-standards that sites should be designed to comply to.

There are very simple ways of exporting saved information (which I presume to be bookmarks, quick search suggests that its relatively straight-forward to copy cookies over too) from IE and importing them to other apps (in fact keeping them stored locally isn't the best of ideas unless you regularly back up, you can use online bookmarking such as Delicious, and there are a whole gamut of plugins to backup/synchronise your Firefox plugins online).

Personally I see little point in having standards (which are a good thing) such as the w3c if they are not adhered to hence my choice to use a standards compliant browser. But its neither my place to tell or try and convince you to use a particular browser.

Thats not wholly accurate because what you actually wrote was...

Nope, I'm using Feuerfuchs and it's doing it.

...which clearly isn't IE, but then I've no idea what "Feuerfuchs" is as I'm an ignorant retard and only speak English (and was too lazy to go and translate it as it really wasn't that important at the time for me to understand what browser you were using).

I then got your reply confused with thesiger in responding as you had both encountered the same problem and I hadn't bothered to review the finer details.

Regardless its sorted, so apologies for being a slacker when attempting to assist, I shan't bother you with such futile attempts in the future.
