Brighton climbing walls
March 15, 2011, 10:09:44 am
Looks like Brighton will finally get not one but two decent climbing walls. Pitch 9 already have planning permission for a bouldering centre in Hove. Should be open in late summer.

The Brighton climbing centre will be bigger with leading and top-roping. They will see if they have planning permission tomorrow but they're very confident.

It looks like the Brighton climbing centre won't be happening now since they lost the building.
The Pitch 9 bouldering centre is still going ahead, although at a different venue.
Please fill out the form at the top of their website to show support.

Boulder Brighton (was known as Pitch 9) will be opening tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Looks good from the photos shown on their Facebook page. The first set of problems (over 150 of them) have a grade range from 1A to 7B+.
