No. Its not the quickest drying crag, and the rock needs to be properly dry.

Looking at the weather forecast I would imagine that at least Nick's Terrace would be dry.  The top-out might be damp though if it's been raining there recently.

wouldnt rate chances of it being dry very highly to be honest, and if it is "dry" it will probably still be in bad condition due to the moisture in the air. best after a few days of dry weather anyways, not been many of those periods this summer....

I wouldn't go near it in anything like damp weather. The rock is weak, and even weaker when damp. Needs a couple of good dry days at least before its worth a visit, though the odd bit like the bouldering wall above the big quarry might dry quicker.

Was there on Sunday. Berlin wall and the Terrace are bone dry. Top outs on the Terrace are dry too.

How is this place likely to look after a few days of rain?

Anyone been here recently? Got a birthday weekend away in a cottage (with fishing) near Shrewsbury this weekend and it's the closest (decent) crag... Weather looks a bit pants so obviously I'll be avoiding it if the forecast is correct... #sandstonelove

Was there today. Berlins wall area was a bit damp as it rained overnight. Northumberland traverse all dry , other routes all fine apart from the to pout which was pretty green/damp.
