I'd love to go to N. Wales soon and do some new problems - there's been so much development going on.

However, there's no guidebook and I've no idea how to find all these problems - is there a resource somewhere?  When's the guidebook?

FWIW I remember going to North Wales in 2011 and being told by someone in V12 that the guide would definitely be out the following year.

If you want to see some of what North Wales has to offer then Boulder Britain and the Climbers Club guides have some limited coverage of the main areas and there's a few minor topos available on the North Wales Bouldering site. I've generally found that between UKC crag pages, extensive video research and a copy of the old North Wales Bouldering guide you can enjoy some of the new spots, but the old guide's out of print making this harder for those who didn't pick one up and it's a lot of effort to do this if you're not local. Alternatively kidnap a local I guess

Hopefully this year. Pantons sending out pages for feedback every week so it is coming together, massive job though.  The whole things been slowed down by him working full time.

Perhaps the most amazing news is that Hession has taken a photo! His 500 year old phone broke recently I heard? Surely you don't have an iphone fatlad!?

Hah, I can assure you that the phone lives! I found one of those bulky picture taking cubic objects and uploaded it to a pc using a cable, then Microsoft paint to edit the image to a small enough size.. Long live the mid 90's tech skills!
