Nice one Ben- modern classic pioneer/rediscoverer

Haha, yeah its surely been climbed before but its so good it needs naming and documenting. I really don't know about the grade you know either, could be piss to be honest, I just don't know...

I was mainly referring to the likes of Where's my Hippo and Lincoln Hawke. Sounds like an fa this one..

Yeah maybe. I just feel its always worth getting things documented, I'm always pleased to read about new things to try. Especially now I've run out of soft touches to climb.

In anticipation of BenF's excellently named new quality problem on the Orme appearing here soon, here are some (non-quality) photos I took on an earlier visit...

Ben camply playing with the holds...

Pulling on...

Really nice spot with generally nice rock and really good problems. Well worth a visit...

Come on Fatneck, straighten your skyline out, that wall is much steeper than your pics suggest!  ;D

Lovely sunny spot, isn't it.

Did anybody repeat Zumanity:

Just curious for some grade consensus.

Ben, please carry on 'pioneering/rediscovering'. Where's My Hippo, In the Mix (etc), Lincoln Hawke - they're all great problems, and this new one looks like a cracker too. People are welcome to retro claim if they want, but at least by putting them up online more folk can get to enjoy them.

Didn't try Zumanity, but it looks classy. I will be back up there very soon so will have a go. It does look spicy for 6B...

I fondled the holds however, we were in the process of retreating from an incoming hefty shower and that's as far as I got. However, I did think 6b(?) might be a bit harsh!?

I was up there trying the sitter to silence of the trams at the weekend. Sitter is very hard if anyone is keen.  The stand up was piss though. Me suggesting 7B was rather over the top perhaps. Still excellent and not an easy move, probably very conditions dependent. It was baltic on saturday and the slopey crimp felt twice the size it had the previous weekend.

I did wonder about the sitter from the pics. I've never been up there so will go soon
