Rutland CC Saturday Morning ride - Birkby Special

Rutland CC are renowned for a saturday morning Tea and Cake (or tea cake) ride which can be a little speedy for the average jo/e

In an effort to appeal to a wider audience - including ladies - they are instigating a slow-cake, a more accessible social ride, reconvening with the fast boys at hathersage pool cafe.

Danny and Birkby are the leaders - meting is as for the teacake ride, asaturday 9 for 9:15 at bents road junction on ecclesall road more details here.....

good effort.

nice to see the club open it's doors to the less fit  /  talented.

My knee is currently not good enough for clipless pedals.. but would be keen for a slow cake beasting at some stage.
