Chatting to Jasper yesterday I realised that the existence of this fantastic charity offer isn't widely known about.

Basicly, you buy a book of vouchers for £50, which goes to Weston Park Cancer Hospital Charity and you get about £1k worth of vouchers.

Useful vouchers, not just stuff you'll never use. Includes nights in hotels, meals at quite a few places, booze, a spa treatment, a bungee jump.

My sister and her mates have bought a book each just so they can have a cheap weekend - hotel room each, meals, cocktails, spa treatment, afternoon tea - all for £50.

Obviously good value for anyone living in Sheff, but might be worth getting if you're coming up to The Peak for a bouldering weekend. Phone the hotels/venues to check that they will be able to accept your voucher for your booking (my sister has had no problems)

I like your thinking. Unfortunately my Mrs would see straight through the fact that I would be benefitting from half of the vouchers too.

I picked up a couple from the shop this lunchtime.
It seems like a funny set up - couple of blokes on laptops, sort of temporary Christmas shop feel about it.
