Everything mint on Burbage South edge if bitterly cold. The odd hail shower not causing any problem.

Burbage West should be, the wind is Westernly according to the met office. Past that, god only knows.

Really? Felt more like a North Easterly in the playground earlier. BW will be getting it full on but there should be plenty of places escaping it.

Grim in Manchester at the moment but rain today implies the east will be in better nick and NorthLeesBill makes it look like it might dry. Am I being over optimistic?

Thinking easy grit but could go line if pushed......

just retreated from Burb N with the kids due to wind and rain - it was drying off almost as fast as it landed, but the fun was reduced

Just back from Tideswell - was all good. On the way there rain stopped a bit after sparrowpits - much better on the way back.

Thought it might be too humid leading to condensed - but was all ok.

Anyone care to hazard a guess as to where might be dry later this afternoon? Was hoping for apparent north or plantation but they were absolutely gopping yesterday eve, might have just been because of the very low cloud though.

In Nether Green at the moment and its been rain/sun/rain/sun all morning.

Tarmac still very wet. stiff breeze and quite mild out. very much a lottery I'd say.

Apparent north was reasonably dry by the end of the day, just damp in the backs of breaks etc.

Plantation was gopping yesterday, maybe a bit of wind will dry it out? We didn't get any rain in Sheffield but maybe there was some out there

Double-digit temps, no wind and a touch a drizzle in Bakewell. Road's dry though. Might be OK, doubt it'll be good. (Dunno if it's any better up at Stanage etc. )
