Snow Radar, the clue is in the name, and in this case on the screenshot.

The companion app Home & Dry is also great, get them both as a bundle for a couple of fuckalls.

Is that any better than/different to the Met Office rainfall radar?

supposedly those apps use the highest res radar available. Not sure if the met office does or not.

I think Met office are the only people operating countrywide rain radar. I suspect they release (for free) their own product with a downgraded spatial and temporal resolution (ie only every 30 min) or with a delay. The paid for weather apps seem to get data every 10-15 min and with less delay - so I think they pay the met office for this. The spatial resolution of the Met Office radar (each pixel) is 5km by 5km.

Today looks ok but only till about 4. Some where that dries quickly could be ok - Stanage, Curbar etc.

Macca - if you're coming up from Cornwall, why not check out the Churnett first? Probably en-route (its right next to Alton Towers)?

Lots of it is pretty weather proof - with the only issue maybe being condensation (though its fairly windy).

Is anywhere likely to be okay for a boulder tomorrow morning/lunch before the expected rain comes in the afternoon?

It's all been a bit wet in sheffield today so probably not for grit. I don't know for certain though. Usual limestone question marks.

Curbar or Plantation are usually a good option after rain. But I think it'd be a gamble today given the rain forecast for early afternoon.

Cheers mark, ended up at burbage on the remergence area. Pretty much all dry but bloody cold. Outside cafe is now proving to be the sensible option...

Some lunchtime drizzle at Stoney and Hathersage but the sun's out again in Sheffield now.
