I've not been but it has been really wet so I suspect seepage may be an issues here and at Woodwell.  May be worth a look if you aren't travelling too far though.

Hi Luke - I recon parts of the the red wall will be wet (it was pretty streaky over Xmas when it had been drier..)

If you're heading up that way I recon it would be a mint day to go to Thorn... (I would be considering it seriously, but I'm off to watch Hull Cheslki)

Woodwell will be soaked, Trowbarrow will be wet in a lot of places and Thorn will be great, if a little warm and sunny for absolutely A1 primo conditions.

Jesus christ trowbarrow is dry!! Shelterstone all dry bar the starting hand holds of Iron Man and Jazz Phenomenon as a whole. Red wall is dry bar a few streaks but Shallow Grave is dry. Also popped into Hyning Wood which was also dry too!

Anyone know if iron man etc is dry? Also, what's it like for condensation? Slightly worried by temp rise on Sat..

The Shelterstone has nothing draining above it so it dries super fast and doesn't seep much.. Condensations a different game - depends probably on the wind..

Went today, all dry on the shelterstone. Not a wet hold on it and no seepage. Red wall mostly dry apart from some seepage here and there. Shallow grave start bit wet.

We didn't end up going in the end, didn't want to risk a 2 hour drive to find it wet.

Was mint yesterday (in a moderately polished limestone way..)...

I would suspect that all of the S.Lakes/Silverdale lime spots are in a similarly good state today...

Where does it count?
Up with walking with the kids today so didn't pull on anything, but pit problem side all seemed dry, damp at the back.
Red wall patchy, shallow grave looked dry enough, other dry problems, with folk trying them. Traverse wouldn't have been much fun avoiding wet footholds though.

Was up here last night and woodwell on the 30th, shelterstone and red wall all dry. Tom's buttress dry, not bad dave area dry, and most lines at o'ert road dry, even the traverse beneath the buttress. Back Hand Roof is nearly dry too. Fairy steps also dry when I visited at the weekend.
