New South Lakes Classic
« on: March 17, 2009, 05:18:35 pm »
The wheelbarrow linkup project at Trowbarrow was sent packing today be a self declared weak Ryan Pasquill.
The new linkup is called Pacman, and goes at about 8a. It climbs wheelbarrow 7c+, into Vitruvian Man 7c.

He also flashed Vitruvian man, and then did Iron man 8a, very quicky.

Not a bad day and adds another classic to an amazing collection of existing problems.

The ascent was filmed. Well, 98.5% of it!

Excellent!

But the big question remains- did you do Iron Man, A?

Were you there Nemo? Get anything done yourself?

Next time Mr Lincoln, next time (that last move feels a lot further when you've climbed from the sitter)

How? We left with about an hour of light left, it must have been an epic!

I was indeed there, dropped the last move (stupidly) of Shallow Grave and also did Funk Phenomenon, then went to woodwell and did screaming slave with heel-toes which is about V6 or 7 apparently!

The thing that suprises me most is Smit didn't flash iron man!

I bumped into Smitt as I was leaving, gave him the numbers on where everything was, and then left him to it with a knackered, skinny mat, and about an hour and a half of daylight left.

Nice one Ryan, a great addition to the block.

As the quarry seems quite in vogue at the moment perhaps one of you beasts would put me out of my misery and do the sit start keel project right of Vitruvian Man, so I don't have to keep trying and failing on it. Starts matched and the keel with your feet high (or low) on terrible holds in the niche/cave, before climbing direct to the big hold on Vitruvian Man (LH) and finishing direct. It's super burley (I wonder why I've been failing), one for Jordan?

Pac Man is at the end of this short clip. I missed the first few moves off.

That turquoise vest is a strong look.
I was mainly in it for the spanking.
