Hey guys thanks for all the comments, think this was definately a YYFY moment for me.
If you'd have asked me last week what the best unclimbed line on Yorks grit was I'd have said this without any hesitation. Amazing line on a very beautiful piece of rock. Can't wait to see the film.
Even though I am slightly biased I do agree, and once I had looked at it on a rope and seen the moves were good and it was very hard but doable I started to get rather over excited. This boulder problem has obssesed me over the last few weeks to the level where it was becoming unsafe for me to drive, I couldn't sleep and my wife had started talking about divorce. It is quite a nice to have all of my brain back to focus on important things like making up stories about Greg Wiggle having all his hair chopped off (ask May). It is also nice to be able to eat properly again as (all due to Jerrys book) I had gone on my first ever diet over the 2/3 weeks prior to doing it (and lost nearly 1/2 a stone but also needed 2 visits to osteo Kim - weight loss is not good for the body)
The crux of it all now is a name and a grade. I was thinking something like 8A+ but I could easily be a grade out either way. On previous visits it had felt really hard but I seemed to have it fairly dialled on friday.
Really struggling to think of a good name for it. My buddy the monkey? Sparrows and Pigeons at Rylstone? My great friend the lime sucker? Cocoa pops? help me out here...
