Right at the end of a fantastic day out at the Slipstones yesterday, I remarked about how unbelievably crimpy it was for gritstone, then pulled on and heard something go "pop" in my left ring finger. Today confirms it, torn the A4 pulley. I'm so psyched for bouldering at the minute, any time out is hard to stomach. I guess I'm just going to have to grit my teeth, do my rehab and get better at open handing in the future!

Lufthansa lost my luggage on Saturday evening and there is still no sign of it. Worst is my laptop charger was in it and even the battery on my mac book can't hold out for ever. I know,  first world problem etc.

macbook chargers are dead easy to get hold of... might cost you some ££ but there'll be plenty around.. probably borrow one from your Dept IT person (assuming you have one?)...

Anyway - time to get some £££ for some new clothes thanks to Lufthansa!!

Strained my left gluteus Saturday doing hill sprints, after a very strong bouldering session on the board. It had to happen sooner or later, every sprint session I was pushing more than the previous one and I had added a more uphill finish for a few meters. As usual, this happens at top form. My inability to pull back and play it (slightly) safe is appalling.
Now I walk like John Wayne after riding bareback for three days.

This is why you should always wear a condom and use lubricant.

Oh, and we say "pull out" not "pull back"...

Sorry.

Oh, and we say "pull out" not "pull back"...
On a side note, I make this kind of errors all the time. I have a couple of words in my mind and I mix them up. Oh well, I'm learning a lot on here as of late!

Mainly, I was thinking, Hill Sprints was a funny name for a girl, but maybe she's from California...

NNFN broke a big chunk off the arete of voyager today whilst trying it. Was so close to doing it too, considering it was half wet it would have definitely gone in the dry!

The best April Fool's joke I've seen today is the one about a bunch of millionaires telling people who to vote for because it'll be better for them.

You mean saying who would be better for business and by extension the employees? Of course when Labour used business leaders to say the Tory plan for an EU referendum was dangerous & etc that was perfectly acceptable.  Lefty double standard fuckwittery at its finest, have a house point.

In respect of Miliband's latest wheeze: you do realise that if ZHC after 3 months become standard contracts employers will just terminate the contracts at 11 weeks and force the ZHC employee to take 2 weeks off (unpaid natch) before going back on a HZC and repeat?

If you have someone on a ZHC for the summer season do you really think it makes sense to erquire them to be employed thereafter on a standard contract when there's no work for them to do?  His plan is utter fucktarded drivel.
