not sure of the legality of that stuff, the last thing you want is to get in trouble yourself, a handy water hose might be better!

I'd ask who your local community support officer/crime prevention officer is, get to know them, ask their advice, see if they can increase patrols on your road, etc etc. Chances are they'll already know the scroats and their families.

Snapped the middle bit out of the locking nut on one wheel while changing out winter tyres yesterday. Any ideas how to remove it now??

Garage got it out and recommended taking other 3 out too, as said the key was badly worn (no doubt from airgun use) so getting some ordinary ones in. Cheers for the help.

After a morning of giving statements, I mainly feel like a middle aged man, who got beaten up by a bunch of kids and really wish I'd stayed indoors and called the police.
I kept thinking " I can't hit them, someone will get killed"... "If you hit back you'll be the one in the cack".
They were just too dumb to realise.
And have just realised how long this is going to go on. Waiting for charging decisions, trial dates, facing some bastard defence lawyer (sorry Sloper, I know it's just a job and important) and Polly facing the same.
Never thought I would, but I understand why people let it go.
