Sure it looks hard, and this might be just me, but... is this about as unattractive as outdoor climbing gets?

Parisellas appears to be both open to the sea view and to include some vertical dimension to the movement. So yes, worse. I daresay both are full of goat shit.

No mention of Emma Twyford on Mind Control?

Significant?

How many other British women have climbed 8c?

Stefano Ghisolfi has made the first repeat of Adam Ondra's La Capella in Siurana.

Daniel Woods has borrowed a rope and harness and nipped in for the second repeat

Dave Macleod has done Gutbuster 8B+ at Dumby yesterday, 10 years after almost doing it. Was ridiculously snowy making it even more impressive!

What an effort indeed! It was a nice video to watch, the successful ascent was so smooth compared to those previous.

Climbing on autopilot!

The skill there - and what's significant surely - is the persistence isn't it!

Amazing that she was attempting to film the ascent over so many years.

The big question for me, is what changes in that time? Worthy of a whole separate thread of course.

I still hate the cheesy lyrics and "sweet music" though  ;)

Will Bosi has repeated Malc’s “hunger” 9a.
I think that’s him done with all Malc’s big ticks in the Uk other than the parasellas thing that barrows ruined.

I have never thought of that as one of Malc’s big ticks so it didn’t spring to mind. Maybe I should but it never registered with me.

Lothlorien. Long, convoluted and complex. Like Tolkien.

Don’t think firefight or supersize me were career definining things were they. Not like Hubble, hunger, monk life, pilgrimage or the kyloe thing.
Other biggies to me were Dreamtime and 2nd overall in World Cup.
Perky pinky was pretty major as well. Certainly more than the funny things in my mind.
