Maybe shark considered the typing out of what someone had already written to be AnCap training?

I think it has. If you look closely, Shark did it above. But he forgot to mention how much he weighed, so perhaps it doesn't count.

If you can produce video evidence of Shark reporting it I'm all ears.

No wonder he's so shit at remembering sequences.

a recent text from Shark indicates that he typed the report from memory, without looking at the keyboard and with only a minimal suggestion of pump

That might be to do with the LEDs that light up on his keyboard telling him which button to hit next.

To drag this away from mocking Shark for a split second; it's quite exciting that there's finally a new generation of sport climbers who have the potential to move UK sport on a bit. Full credit to Steve Mac, but the fact that our best sport climber is the same one it was 15 years ago is one that could do with changing!

I'm pretty sure that Bosi and the Pope can get up to 9a+/b with a bit of luck; they've certainly got the talent and the right attitude. Exciting times ahead...

Poor Tom Bolger. More hard routes than anyone and still not the best

Surely that would be easier if he climbed a bit quicker.

I take it you're not counting all of Steve's Raven Tor linkups? But you are counting all the Santa Linya linkups.  :worms:

What did I did I do wrong this time?

It was the first time I had seen Bosi climb and it was extremely impressive. He was obviously well within his capabilities and looked very comfortable at the shake.

Oh I see. I was tired when I typed it up having just got back.

From Will Bosi on 8a.nu:

"Basically Rainshadow is by far the hardest route I've ever done and one of the best. It is probably the most inspiring line at Malham and one of the most in Britain. It climbs through the steepest and longest part of the Malham roof and its pretty much in the middle of the cove as well. This was the first route I've ever spent more than 2 days on so I really got a feel for the projecting side of climbing but I'm not sure I'm convinced."

Not sure what he means by his last point

I had a reply which was going to poke more fun at shark but slackers beat me to the reply so I can't use it now.

Great news, that's seen a fair bit of attention over the years. Definitely not easy!
