Are you saying Pringles are more mainstream than Partridge? :)

I always thought of Partridge as being part of the alternative comedy gang, though I guess he has been pretty successful.

It would take some doing to compete with this...

Pringles are sold in more than 140 countries, and have yearly sales of more than US$1.4 billion.

Beast! Has he only done one 9a+? (looked that way from a quick skim of the translated article jwi linked) I heard Romain Desgranges was getting close on this recently too.

And a few 9a/+?

Anyway, regardless of the grade, he's known as a specialist of this kind of monster long routes with several rests and sections of varying intensity.

I'm not doubting the grade, obviously (I have a friend who spent two months attempting the route). And Seb Bouin is a monster. I'm just predicting how the worst asshole in climbing going to spin this news for a few extra clicks.

Irish punter Eddie Barbour did his first 8b flash the other day - 'Urban Surfer' at Rumney. First person to flash that route according to the locals.

Nice one. She's obviously got the ability on routes - what with Font 8A+ power, she should get on something hard!

Pete Whittaker did kaabah (8c+) tonight at Raven Tor, especially impressive considering his massive sausage fingers and the average size of the razor crimps on the upper wall. Good stuff!

Ethan Walker just smashed it too. Good effort, especially in this heat! Looks like there'll be a vid at some point: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10155666641730635&set=a.10150338194895635.582189.908165634&type=1&theater
