Very confusing news.
I thought Barrows was in Australia but he's done a problem in Rocklands (ok, he's tall but still a long way...). I understand that Monkey is in Rocklands but he's doing problems in Australia...

Tom Peckitt- Amandla 8B+

I can imagine him turning up to projects and being distraught that the crimps aren't minging enough  :2thumbsup:

(side note; looks like Barrows also did a hard move and did Mooiste)

Mega!

They'll be a catch  ;D

There'll be a heel which reduces it to 7B+  you mean?

Not a kneebar or heel insight.

I would imagine he still wore a kneepad though, just to complete his look!  :geek:

Full credit to him as well, the previous session he took then end of his finger off and fell going to the lip a couple of times!

Talbot Horizon by Jordan Buys 16 years after the FA.

One of Birkett's E9s on the East Buttress.

Interview on the other channel:
http://www.ukclimbing.com/news/item.php?id=70607

Interestingly, the one that Birkett has said is his best new route (Another Lonely Day, the E8 continuation of Borderline) still hasn't been repeated as far as I know.

Apparently if you're the size of a skyscraper you can do the whole thing of one toe hook    :smart:

Don't worry, the world hasn't gone crazy - I definitely didn't do a hard move, just toe-hooked the life out of it. I tried to do a hard move today and it didn't go so well... Think I should stick to easy ones and lanking stuff.

Time for him to update his bloody blog then :)

The steely fingered Eve Lancashire has gone and repeated Rare Lichen! However, she still can’t do Jerry's Roof…   ;)

Dunno how significant it would be considered by the UKB elders but Ali Kennedy climbed Muy Caliente on Saturday.

Disappointingly smooth ascent with not even a power scream or bit of disco leg. Was hoping for at least one of those if not a whip off the safe crux. Impressively  :strongbench:

That's incredible! I'd never heard of her before so by the power of Google I discovered she only did her first E5 last month! Presumably she's another from the production line of super strong junior comp climbers who are now popping outdoors and climbing mega hard?
