Singularity gets 8B+ in the guide but its unrepeated. Which is really surprising with its location being in the grand wall boulder field and right under dream catcher

Yeah, he did.

You missed out Mike Adams on your 8C list.

Thought I'd missed someone.

Well done Hamish.

Christ he made that look easy. Good effort!

The day I did The Ace. The 15 seconds of climbing does no justice to the amount of time that I ended up putting in to this; many hours of driving, split tips and roles of tape! Thanks to all the spotters who have lent time and pads.
P.S Ugly ticks were brushed off afterwards (as best as I could without being blown of the boulder)

 :2thumbsup:

Christ, must have a decent pair on him to be doing that sequence without spotters, if he'd dropped that top hold he could have gone for miles. The youth of today etc <shakes head in disbelief>.

He did have a cloth shin protector though. At 34 sec it makes contact with the lip?

I'll say! I spotted Ned on this once when he was trying it, I'd never seen him on it before. I'd also never even heard of anyone going again with their right hand on The Ace. He forgot to mention it. First go he hit the top hold, held the swing to the apex, then immediately ripped off and flying kicked me off the boulder. It came as a shock to have a 200 stone beast boot me in the torso but at least I was there to get in the way, you would end up in Hathersage otherwise! Large balls.

Maybe not a true "significant repeat" as it's the 5th or 6th ascent, but the Canadians just got their second v15 ascent.

Also did Nagual in a couple of goes and flashed an 11,  all in the first three days of his trip.

i'd say more impressive is doing terre de sienne in two goes: says on his 8a he did amandla that quickly too...
