Great (but admittedly unsurprising) to see how the effects of an arduous competition season have translated to loads of very quick hard ascents on rock for the top females. If any of them decide to take a leaf out of the Angie Payne siege book maybe we'll see the first female 8C soon?

Wow, that's genuinely brilliant. How much longer has he got out there? Sounds like it's been a pretty amazing trip for him so far.

Looks like a properly hard problem too, even Woods makes it look really really really difficult (about five mins in here )

I have started my logbook,having only just got an email account,i have 8 years of ascents to upload.i repeated niks wall at Rivelin. some years ago and repoted it in climber mag.Some people were sceptical about this due to the way it was reported.I had no idea it was unrepeated and went there to find the hardest problem and did it after many attempts.Without email i had no other way to report it.Just wanted to clear the matter up.
