You have clearly had a skinful...

Can I interest you in my very special rola cola aged kirov vodka?  It's a new blend, and quite a spicy little number.  I also have some m&ms mascerating in a vat of tesco own brand scotch. Bit of an experiment.

Having recently returned from my ollibobs in Scotland, and a distillery tour where I was revealed an shocking secret from a senior manager (MD?) at an extra-ordinarily well-respected distillery.

Will disclose via PM

Awesome post. The irony of the man who is uber snobbish about wine and has indeed posted on the fine wine thread then posting about Fine Wine finished uber snobbish whisky. Welcome back mate, we've missed you. Well sometimes :-)

Good effort though, still sloshed 4-5 days after beating the Aussies. God help your liver if you ever win the RWC.

I now have a new favourite scotch.

Move aside - Highland Park

Step forward -  10YO Springbank.

It is Pulteney o'clock in the RobertsFanKlub household.

(Not the £76/bottle best Scotch in the World stuff, but the highly accepetable 12yo, currently retailing at sub £20 in Morrisons)

Booths supermarkets have a Whisky Fair on at the moment - lots of malts with £10 off.  Highlights are probably Old Pulteny 12yo for £16 and Highland Park and Laphroig for £20.  Arbelour is half price at £14.
